Happy New Years from wadiSLAM! Long Time No See!
Hey everyone! IT's everyones favorite slammaster Lisa. School has been a bit crazy, so slam has been on the backburner(shame on me) Anyways, the birthdaySLAM! went well despite the blizzard of snow we had, so many people couldn't come=( But still, good turnout! Good News for the New Year!!! We have two slams coming at ya in Feb! On Wend. Feb 11th at 9 pm, we are having a verrrry special slam. It will be the slam that decides who will be on the national team this year for wadiSLAM! Nationals is this August in St. Louis. Trust me kids, this is a big thing. Its the superbowl of slam. Anyways, its so late, because it is uncensored, and since Wadi Cafe is a all ages place, we had to wait till the kids are in bed. Also it is on a week night, because we have poets from all around traveling to get on the team, and we had to work around schedules. And get this, double dose of slam in one week! That friday, the 13th wadiSLAM! is having a Jilted Lovers SLAM! A slam about love; the good, the bad, and the ugly. It will be at 7:30. So there ya have it! An exciting year in wadiSLAM!
